Setback for Al-Nassr as Ronaldo to Miss AFC Champions League Game

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - Al-Nassr has suffered a setback as star forward Cristiano Ronaldo is set to miss the club's upcoming AFC Champions League game. The Portuguese superstar, who has been in fine form for Al-Nassr this season, will be absent from the team's clash against Istiklol due to a slight neck injury.

Ronaldo's absence will undoubtedly be a blow to Al-Nassr, who are aiming to progress further in the AFC Champions League.
The 38-year-old has been a key player for the Saudi Arabian club, scoring 24 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions this season.

Despite Ronaldo's absence, Al-Nassr manager Luis Castro remains optimistic about his team's chances of winning the game. Castro has faith in his squad's ability to step up and fill the void left by Ronaldo.

"We have a strong squad and we are confident that we can win the game without Cristiano," Castro said. "He is a great player, but we have other players who can score goals and help us win."

Al-Nassr are currently top of Group D in the AFC Champions League and are well-placed to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition. The club will be aiming to secure their passage to the next round without Ronaldo, but his absence will undoubtedly be felt.
